2) Asian Film Festival
Chris from the Cinema came to discuss what movies ACT wanted shown on two separate weekends
- email him if you want to add a country's movie to the list
- it was decided to show one country per showing (to represent more countries)
- Movie dates: May 15 and 16, May 22 and 23 (Fri and Sat each week)
- so far interest in Japan, Philippines, India, Korea has been emailed to Chris
- 75 people fit in the movie theatre
- $5 students $7 adults
- 1st showing 6pm 2nd showing 8 or 8:30pm

3) See the proposal for formations presented at the meeting

4) Bazaar
- we have groups from ACT participating in performance
- ACT will have a table and each country will provide one item ahead of time to go on the table (figurines, pictures, hat, clothing, etc.)

5) Fund Raising for Experience Asia 2009
-Need to start organizing and implementing fund raising activity way in advance due to economic difficulties.
-Need to create a Committee to handle such responsibility.
- Update forms and website for this

6) Lucy Ho's Dream Documentary
- Dates for Meals at $60 per person with tip included will be April 13, May 11, and June 8 (please let people know)
- Dinner in the home of Lucy Ho for $1,000 for up to 10 people

7) Annual Membership Fees are Due - Please send your check for $25 for individual membership; $100 for organization

8) Next meeting will be April 12, 2009
- Dr. Genzo Tanaka has graciously offered his home for the meeting with a tea ceremony to commence at 3pm 1 hour before the meeting

9) Check out buzzable.com and get your twitter account going—check with Manju Kundra at mskundra@comcast.net. We need to support this to attract more investors in her son’s (Ashis Kundra) project.

10) Extreme Makeover will air on April 26th, Sunday on Channel 27, or Cable 7

12) Need to support SB 314. Next hearing will be with the Military Affairs and Domestic Security Committee on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 1: pm at Room 37, Senate Building. Encourage everyone to come and support.

13) ACT will continue for another year with its membership with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. Dr Melinda Cowen and Salim Talib will be representing ACT.
