1) Election of Officers 2009: Core Officers and Board of Directors were elected by members present at the meeting. The members made a motion to extend the term of Officers and Board of Directors from 1 to 2 years. It was unanimously passed by members present at the meeting.

2) Springtime Tallahassee Parade (March 28, 2009): ACT will participate at the parade and will have two entries at the event. ACT participants will walk at the parade wearing their national costume. Flags of different countries will be provided.

3) Upcoming Events:
          a. FSU Asian-American Student Union “Lunar New Year Banquet” – Monday, January 26, 2009               FSU Ox at Miller’s Hall at 7:00 PM. Contact Ian Johnson @ 850.322.3195 or via e-mail               ijd03@fsu.edu for tickets.
          b. Chinese New Year “The Year of the Ox” Celebration, January 31, 2009, FSU Grand Ballroom,               Ogelsby Student Union, Tallahassee, Florida 6-8:30 pm. Contact Carl Huang @ 850.443.1613.               $12 for the General Public. $8 for Students and TAA Members.

4) Asia Pacific Month Celebration will be May 9, 2009 at FSU Student Union Ballroom from 11-3 pm.

5) Experience Asia 2009 tentatively September 26, 2009. Ferdie Francisco will check sometime March 2009 for 2009 FSU Football Schedule to determine their home games on September.

6) Fund Raising / Sponsorship – Melinda Cowen and Clyde Diao will work on this.

7) Other Matters:
          a. Pursue ACT’s 501.C3 Non-Profit Corporation.
          b. International Bazaar sometime in February 2009. Cynthia Green shall coordinate with Nilubon               Tabtimtong to post the public service announcement on ACT’s website.
          c. Update ACT’s By-Laws revising the term of office and adding the additional Board of Directors.
